Understanding refunds and cancellations for Flight Compass bookings
Flight Compass is a flight deal discovery service, not a travel booking agency.
All flights and travel services are booked directly with our trusted partners (airlines, Kiwi.com, and other authorized travel providers). Refund and cancellation policies are determined by these providers, not by Flight Compass.
For any cancellations or refund requests, you must contact the company where you completed your booking (airline, Kiwi.com, etc.). Each provider has their own refund policy and process.
Your booking confirmation email will contain the contact information for the travel provider and details about their cancellation policy.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of ticket purchased (refundable vs. non-refundable), timing of cancellation, and the specific airline's policy.
If an airline cancels your flight, you're typically entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no extra cost, regardless of ticket type.
For flights departing from or arriving in the US, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund if the flight is more than 7 days away.
Most discounted tickets are non-refundable but may allow changes for a fee. The unused portion might be available as credit for future travel.
Consider purchasing travel insurance when booking to protect against unexpected cancellations due to illness, emergency, or other covered reasons.
If your flight is delayed or cancelled, you may be entitled to compensation under various passenger rights regulations:
We partner with AirHelp to help you claim compensation for flight disruptions. Check their banner on our homepage for more information.
While Flight Compass cannot process refunds directly, we're happy to help you understand your options and connect you with the right support channels.
Response Time: We typically respond within 2-4 hours during business hours.
